Shipboard Firefighting Management Guide This guide is provided to students in our Marine Fire Officer Course.  It is intended as a tool and checklist reminder for key actions during a marine fire.  It begins with initial sizeup considerations, progresses through the initial command formations under ICS and is completed by a Unified Command Template for firefighting operations.  It is not meant to take the place of formal training, but serves as a reminder of key points for those involved in a marine incident.
