TMSA's Maritime Incident Response Team provides local incident commanders support during marine incidents. We have a team of trained marine firefighters, communicators, key technical advisors, and other specialists that can support incidents, exercises, or training for our region's first responders. In addition, we have been designated by the U.S. Coast Guard to provide liaison to fire departments during incidents in Sector Delaware Bay. Our team of volunteers will respond upon request of an incident commander to assist as part of any incident command system established. Out MIRTeam will not take over from first responders that have the jurisdiction over the incident, but will provide any assistance within our capabilities to facilitate operations.
